From a hospital room to 967K followers
All organic. No paid ads. No shortcuts.
In 2018, Shanee Moret's daughter was hospitalized. When her employer gave her an ultimatum, come back to the 9-to-5 or lose your job, she chose her daughter. Overnight, she went from a steady paycheck to figuring out how to feed her family from a laptop.
She discovered LinkedIn and did what most people do first: cold messaging. Hundreds of messages sent. People were rude. Most calls were canceled. The ones that did show up wanted to negotiate her down to nothing. It was demoralizing, but she kept going.
Then she studied people like Tony Robbins and noticed three patterns: they were visible on video, they gave away massive value for free, and they showed up every single day. In November 2018, she posted her first video, hands shaking, a self-described "BIG introvert," and committed to 30 days straight.
Within weeks, inbound leads started appearing. In 60 days she went from 100% outbound to 100% inbound. By early 2020, she'd grown to 300,000 followers. Then the pandemic hit and hundreds of business owners asked her to teach them. She launched Growth Academy Global after the 200th message. Her community grew from 300K to 967,000+ followers, all organic, no paid ads, no shortcuts.
A pediatric cancer survivor, woman of faith, gardener, mom, and animal rescuer, Shanee has been featured in Entrepreneur and Forbes, built a LinkedIn newsletter audience of 267,000+ subscribers, and helped 500+ business owners generate real inbound revenue through LinkedIn. Our story
Growth Academy Global was born from the 200th "How did you do it?"
By September 2020, hundreds of business owners had watched Shanee go from cold messaging strangers to generating every client through inbound content, and they wanted the playbook. So she built one. Growth Academy Global started as a small community and grew into a full-service personal branding education platform headquartered in Jupiter, Florida.
